Professional Development Grants are awarded to a district or building team in the amount of $3,000. The purpose of this grant is to build a partnership between the CNYTC and a group of educators ( teachers, teaching assistants & administrators) to promote the best practices in teaching and learning.

Professional Development Grants provide ongoing professional growth opportunities for educators to support district professional development plans. Professional development activities may include: mentoring, cognitive coaching, communication skills, technology, research, behavior management or other educational strategies.

Grant proposals are availble on December 15th, due March 15th, and awarded in April of each year. They are then implemented during the next school year. Call the CNYTC for grant writing assistance or attend a grant writing workshop.
