   KINKELS IN THE HOUSE!

Lisa, who has a Master's Degree in English and writing, keeps her finger on the pulse of the workings of a private international industrial wastewater engineering firm (we do sludge!).  In her spare time, she is working on her epoch novel, Sludge and Other Non-Newtonian Fluids I Have Known.

Husband Bryan is a wildlife management consultant, specializing in whitetail deer.  He can tell you how to manage your property to attract turkey, quail, wild boar, and, of course, deer.  And, after you are successful in attracting these cute little creatures, he can also tell you how to hunt and kill them - look out Bambi, he's right behind you! - just kidding!

2 year old daughter Ruby is a rabid Tennessee Titans football fan.  She is prone to throw up her arms and yell "Touchdown!" when she does a successful potty - could be the start of a trend here at the Parkerosa.

The picture above was taken on their 40-acre farm of rolling hills just outside of downtown Nashville - I don't see any deer, do you?.

Kinkel is a variation of the German occupational name Gunkel, which described the maker or the spinner of spindles. It is derived from the German word Kunkel = spindle, distaff, from Middle High German kunkel < LL conicula, a diminutive form of conus = cone, peg. Other variations are Kunkel, Künkel, Künkler .
