UNIT 6 - AEROFLYTE FALCON

Welcome Ilona Mifflin! & Scott Lockwood!

Ilona came first followed by Scott - whoa now!  ... what I meant to say was Ilona was the first to rent the Aeroflyte Falcon and then Scott moved in at a later date even though there was space available in some of our units - he insisted on going Aero - careful, the ceilings are not reinforced!

bikini.jpg (38553 bytes)This urgent message from Ilona received at the Parkerosa some time ago:

"Yo! Parker!

I want to shack up in that adorable little unit on wheels, the Aero Flite Falcon.   Just the thing for the perfect summer vacation when I'm out seeing the sights on the Lincoln Highway. I even brought along a chenille bedspread and a couple of flamingos for the front yard -- hope you don't mind.

Anyone who wants to join me in armchair traveling can head on over to Lincoln Highway Adventures (a dead link - I apologize - Ilona help me) or drop me a line  (email works but spam filter in overdrive).  If necessary, I'll scan a pile of Monopoly money -- enough to pay for an indefinite stay.

Thankyouverrrymuch!

Ilona Mifflin"

Ilona has been causing quite a stir here at the Parkerosa since her arrival.  Some of the women have been complaining that Ilona's wardrobe tends to lean toward the skimpy side.  I should take this opportunity to state that Ilona is not violating any Parkerosa dress code and we encourage her to lounge in the attire of her choice!

And now a recent word from would-be co-tenant and hardcore mobilomaniac Scott Lockwood.

Dear Del-

You've got a really groovy site there....and what a fun idea. It's obvious that you're a very cool dude who ranks very high in "hipness factor" ratings (that is so true Woody!), and I'm hoping that my not so modest (I think "modest" works) attempts at buttering you up will result in an opportunity (that's for Ilona to decide) to occupy your '48 Aero Flite (sp.) Falcon, especially since I actually found a non-virtual '47 of my own the other day sitting in a farmers yard.  However, I really prefer the '48 with the corrugated siding, and port-hole window and louvers in the door, which the '47 doesn't have. So, until I get this one restored, or maybe trade it for a '48, it would be swell to know that I'm getting to stay for a while in a virtual copy of one...which is definitely one of my all time favorite vintage trailers.  (Woody, you are so trailer hardcore!)

Keep up the good work!

Best Regards,

Scott Lockwood
