Received this initial correspondence from Mama King:
I have always been fascinated [haven't we all] by the unique architecture of the 30's, 40's and 50's. I LOVE the old buildings that were made to be seen and recognized way before you actually got too them. Alas... The only Teepee buildings I have seen have been in photographs. [that's all about to change now]
Some day my husband [is that him in the picture] and I will be able to just travel around and see Roadside America, tracking down some of those lost gems (provided some are still standing!)
Until them, can we bring the kids [I guess so] and stay in 9F for a while [as long as there's no trouble - we've had issues with Toastmaster types] ???

A vacation... Just what the King Family needs!
We are Donn, a College Speech Professor, Janet, an Administrative
Assistant, Zachary, a teenager (what more needs to be said about that?) and
Hannah, all of 8 months old.
A family... packed and ready to hit the road... longing to find a place to
just relax and enjoy time to do nothing... or something... just not on a
schedule!
