Women in Literacy/Global Women in Literacy is a global campaign sponsored by Laubach Literacy. It began in 1990 and is currently active in 35 countries of Africa, Asia, and the Americas. The global goal is to help 1.1 million poor and low-income women take advantage of opportunities for learning and action in their communities.
