How does one say good-bye to her beloved pet?

Ziggy, you filled the void in my life. You made me happy, you were my friend, my companion, my buddy, my baby. Though somebody abused your little body, the x-rays showed BBs still embedded in you, I loved your little paws, curly tail and pudgy belly. You were my little "marble" eyes. Your eyes were never angry and always forgiving. When I was lonely, you were there, when I was sick you stayed at my side, when I was troubled you were there, you were always, always there.

You're at peace now Ziggy, no pain, and nobody will abuse you ever again.
Good-bye Ziggy, I LOVE YOU--ALWAYS WILL
