How to sum up a concept like Tim’s Brain in one word? Hmm…

Squishy? Perhaps. Other than the concussion Tim suffered falling off the hood of a moving vehicle in college, we have little to attest to its consistency, in more ways than one.

Complex? Well, that’s kind of a cliché, isn’t it? A brain is a complex wonder, and to say that Tim’s is any more complex than any other would be hard to state firmly without a large research grant and a number of cranial experiments Tim is in no hurry to try.

Surprising? Well, we hope. I mean, would there be any point in putting together a completely predictable Web site where you know what you will encounter, page after page? Unless, of course, you’re looking for endless pages of mediocrity, in which case we hope that you look elsewhere.

Creative? Say, that would be nice. We do have some highly creative people behind The Brain here (info). If you don’t feel this a creative site, we will happily give you a full refund*.

Enjoyable? That’s the ticket. We hope you laugh, cry, come out singing the songs, etc. We hope you read something on here, and it makes you think. Maybe it makes you think in a new way. Maybe it makes you think, “damn, that’s good writing.”
