Warren Werner is now a resident at the Crossings Nursing and Rehabilitation Center (formally Hallmark), where he joins Norm Evans. Norm is the resident pastor, still making hats, starting another book, (this one about the early settlers of Georgetown), a historical novel, and has a garden in boxes, pots, pans, etc. Besides Warren and Norm from Georgetown, Stanley Kellogg (who was also once of Georgetown) is there. more

News from the Lebanon Town Board
At its monthly meeting on Monday, July 11 Lebanon town officials reviewed changes in the hamlet’s Lighting District for 2006 which will lower the average tax rate, discussed proposed increases in the Georgetown fire protection district for 2006 that will increase fire district tax rates 50 percent, and endorsed a resolution calling for Madison County to hold public hearings and voting machine demonstrations in the southern end of Madison County. more
