Coon donates hair to Locks of Love

Shelby Coon, daughter of Dale and Tricia Coon donated her hair to Locks of Love. She was inspired by her late Aunt Jodi who lost her battle with cancer. Shelby was very concerned when Aunt Jodi had lost her hair during her cancer treatment. It made her want to donate her hair when it was long enough.

Shelby contacted Jamie from Julie’s Shear Perfection in Hamilton for the guidelines for Locks of Love. Shelby was in the chair with a smile on her face the entire time. This great donation was her own idea and we hope others can follow her lead.
