Quilt drawing to benefit local teen

Members of the Log Cabin Quilters Guild are selling tickets for a chance to win a full size quilt made and donated by area quilter Norma Lamb. Proceeds from the drawing will go directly to Jacob Lamb and his family to help with travel and medical expenses. Jacob is a Hamilton Central School senior who is undergoing long term chemotherapy and radiation treatment at Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.

Tickets are available from Guild members, some local merchants and the Public Library as well as most Saturdays at the Farmers’ Market on the Hamilton Village Green. Drawing for the quilt will be held September 7. For more information, please call Barbara Hipsley at 824-1962.
